The Power of One

Last night, I was really wanting to get a fun, upbeat Christian album since it has been a while since I have purchased a truly original and unique sounding record. I recalled seeing this album “The Power of One” by Israel & New Breed and thought that it would be a good purchase and was really intrigued with the iTunes 30 second preview of the songs, so I decided to purchase it.
I haven’t heard a lot of Israel’s stuff but knew that he was a good artist from the few songs that I have heard. This album does not disappoint! With a gospel, regge, rock and funk fusion of music, this is perfect driving and cleaning music! I can’t help but move when I hear the beats!
Since I just purchased this last night and love it so much, I wanted to listen to it during lunch so I stopped at Chic-Fil-A and got a drive through then stopped in a remote corner of the parking lot and with my windows down enjoying the Colorado weather, I was blaring this first song when an employee of the Red Lobster next door came over from her car and asked me what I was listening to! I wrote down the information on a napkin for her! So, the music is so good that a stranger came over to my car to find out what it was, and I don’t blame her!
